All participants attending ICAS X are required to carry a valid passport or national ID document (for EU/Schengen citizens) and, where applicable, a visa.
Participants who require a visa should submit their application to the appropriate Visa Service of the Republic of Poland in their country of residence, or to the Polish embassy/consulate representing Poland, with reference to the ICAS X Conference in Kraków.
Please note that the processing time for a Schengen visa application may take up to 45 days. We strongly encourage participants to apply for their visa as early as possible (applications can be submitted no earlier than six months prior to the planned date of travel).
Poland is part of the Schengen Area, which allows free movement between member countries without border controls. Third-country nationals may enter Poland provided they hold a valid travel document and a visa (if required).
You can find the list of countries whose citizens require a visa to enter Poland on the official website of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
If you require an official invitation letter to support your visa application or have any questions, please contact the ICAS X Conference Team at: intrelations@stat.gov.pl
